This contans the only soldered connections The transmitter, its driver and the DC-DC converter are soldered to it. The remaining components were bought and plug into it with jumper cables.
The charge controller has no mounting holes. To hold it securely when plugging in the charging cable, it was fastened to a daughter board by stiff wires. Later the Aether Charger failed and was replaced by a USA-made charger with a USB-C connector.
The resistor sets the maximum charging current. Charging current reduces to a trickle when the battery reaches 4.2 V.
